The File Parser Enablement Pack enables browsing and parsing of the following file types within WhereScape 3D & WhereScape RED:

• Parquet / JSON / XML / Avro / ORC / Excel / CSV / Delimited text

Files can be parsed on the following sources:

• Windows
• Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
• Google Cloud Storage & Google Drive
• Amazon S3
• REST API

Usage Notes:

• The following Target Enablement Packs now come bundled with the File Parser and contain updated loader templates designed to load File Parser discovered files:
  • Snowflake
  • Azure Synapse (REST API loading support not included)
  • SQL Server/Azure SQL DB
  • PostgreSQL (Windows File Parser only)
  • Google BigQuery (Google Drive loading support not included)
• We are upgrading our other Target Enablement Packs to include compatible loader templates
• Until your target platform is supported, you can still install and use the File Parser to discover files in WhereScape 3D and WhereScape RED and use their structures to define load tables and onward Data Warehouse designs
• In order to load data from any parsed files into an unsupported target platform you will have to manually adjust your load template or script

Download the latest enablement pack version listed in the table below, ensuring it is compatible with your version of WhereScape RED or WhereScape 3D. Check your installed version in the Help -> About menu.
